The name

Latin for shape, form: to give something its form. It’s the work we do with every artist we represent, shaping a career with intention and building it to last.

Jay Speight brings more than 20 years of music industry experience to Forma, with a background that spans Music Row songwriting, major label A&R, independent artist development and record production.

As a songwriter, he has earned cuts with artists including Kid Rock, Trace Adkins, Travis Tritt, Selah and Newsong across both mainstream and Christian markets. As a producer, his credits include Selah, Natalie Layne and Church Friends, with his work earning a GMA Dove Award nomination.

He previously co-founded and later sold an independent record label and publishing company, where he led A&R and built a firsthand understanding of what separates artists who break through from those who don’t. That experience, sitting at the A&R table, navigating the label system and working across every stage of the artist lifecycle, is what he brings to every artist Forma represents.

Brandon Bagby is a Nashville-based music producer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with more than two decades of professional experience across both mainstream and Christian markets.

His career has taken him from the stage to the studio, touring as lead guitarist for Grammy Award-winning group Audio Adrenaline and Grammy and Dove Award-winning artist Mandisa, and performing live with artists including Jimmie Allen, Natalie Grant, Selah, Dante Bowe and many others.

Since moving to the producer’s chair in 2021, Brandon has applied that same breadth of experience to music production and artist development, with sync placements across CMT, NBC, NFL Network, ESPN and more. He brings a rare combination of live performance instincts, studio craft and genuine artist empathy to everything Forma does.
